Pre - MBA

Two-year program (post Bac+3 + post Bac+4/5)

The candidates who do not have any training in Management, Marketing and Communication, will follow a necessary cycle of pre-courses.

The pre-MBA program of IEMI is part of a European and international L/M/D higher education reform. It is an international institution, through its European and American accrediation ECBE – ACBSP.

The Master / MBA of IEMI can acquire multi-skills in international management with a wide range of specialisations. The candidates could choose the specialisation according to their professional project.

The Pre-MBA program aims to strengthen the fundamentals in business management: law, human resources, finance, and to gain a strong culture in the international management. This program includes extensive simulations, to master new technologies and learning the second or third languages.

The students could choose 4 within the 5 expertise tracks and 19 specializations, according to their professional project

After the first year of the Pre-MBA, candidates will acquire the skills to pursue the MBA / Master of Business Administration.

  • Graduated with a degree or having an equivalent degree from a business school or an equivalent foreign degree.
  • Managerial and executive, depending on the professional experience

The candidates who have no trainings in management may be offered a full or partial prerequisite course.

COMPANY MISSION / RESEARCH PAPER

During the course a professional mission shall be made by the student at a French or foreign company.

This mission is sanctioned by writing a research paper based on a personal project, that allows students to practice their knowledge. Each student has a coordinator, a project manager, whose role is to enable the students to effectively integrate within the host company.

He / she directs and advices the students to achieve a professionalism and enabling him / her to meet the objective of the mission. More importantly he / she would share his / her experiences, thus facilitating his / her integration into a professional world.

FINANCING
IEMI has established a mechanism to help financing its programs adapted to different financial situations of candidates:

1. BANK LOANS

2.TEMPORARY WORK
The Service Europe Council department of our institue offers several tempporary employments - jobs to reconcile with the studies.

3. INTERNSHIPS AND MISSIONS
Bonuses received during the internships and missions are perceived by business students based on candidates, particularly graduates' skills and experience.

4. SUPPORT
The school fees and salaries may also be affected in the budget of the training: Fongécif, Regions Grants and scholarships, departments, Pôle emploi, Cnasea and Cmpa.

LE DIF (DROIT INDIVIDUEL À LA FORMATION - INDIVIDUAL RIGHT TO TRAINING)
It is a credit of 20 hours of training per year, accumulated over 6 years to a maximum of 120 hours. The training takes place outside of working hours unless otherwise specified, and is supported by the employer according to some terms. The training hours conducted outside working hours are paid by the employer up to 50% of the net earnings. During working hours, wages are normally maintained. The employer may deduct the costs of training on its participation in the development of the education.

The CIF (CONGÉ INDIVIDUEL DE FORMATION)
It allows to monitor 1 year full time training or 1200 hours of part-time training and regain his/her post or an equivalent post upon completion. The funding agency supports between 80% and 90% of salary (up to 100% if it is less than twice the minimum wage). It may also reimburse the training, travel and accommodation costs, in whole or in part, as the determined rules. The employer may decide to fund (or not) and to pay the remaining costs.
